The Local Journalism Project continues the 2026 Winter Series with Sophie Hills. Sophie was a Provincetown Independent summer fellow in 2021. She is now a staff writer at the Christian Science Monitor where she covers the intersection of religion, politics, and law.

We are delighted to welcome Sophie back for a conversation about her current work covering the national stories that we are all talking about-ICE in Minneapolis, Supreme Court cases, Venezuela, potential presidential candidates and more. Provincetown Indie editor, Ed Miller, will lead the conversation.
