We are grateful to be part of a community that cares about local journalism.
SUPPORT NEXT GENERATION JOURNALISTS
When you give you support young journalists learning the skills and principles of good journalism. And they’re giving back by making a difference right here at our own local newspaper.
HELP WITH OUR HOUSE PURCHASE
We’ve been searching and soul-searching as we’re finding it impossible to welcome new writers when we can’t find places for them to rent. Right now, we have an exciting opportunity: a 3 bedroom house in Provincetown, that’s been renovated specifically to meet this kind of workforce housing need. We must raise $500,000 for this by Aug. 15 and we’ve at $299,700.
Donations may also be made by check. Make checks to the Local Journalism Project and mail your donation to:

Our donors share the belief that rebuilding our local capacity to report and produce the news is a way to shore up democracy at its grassroots. They play no role in guiding the journalism produced by our partner the Provincetown Independent newspaper. View our previous donors here.
The Local Journalism Project is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization with an educational purpose. Contributions to the project are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
